Let the trip begin / Rochester, NY

It all begins in Mansfield, MA on July 6th, 2009. Jared Marshall, Michael-Jean Zinni and myself met up at the Zinni's house, had a wonderful lunch prepared by Mrs. Zinni and sat around for a while. Finally, the trip begins. First stop; beautiful Brockton, MA. We stopped to visit Jared's mother prior to leaving. Unfortunately we had just missed her so we moved on to West Bridgewater, MA. Bloom's Pizza to be exact. Got to speak with Jesse for a while and got some free water. At this point, it's already about 11pm. Gotta start some time I guess. So now, we decide leaving Massachusetts is a great start. We drove through Rhode Island and Connecticut into New York. Originally we had planned on staying with a friend of Jared's, Matt, in New York City, NY, but decided we would save that as our final stop before returning home. So onward to Rochester, NY. We made a stop at a rest stop on the highway in New York and stayed the night in the car. Moving onto Rochester; we stayed with Mike's college roommate, Andy Ward. We visit Wegman's Grocery Store, which is a trip in itself. If you've never been, get going! It's amazing. Everything is there. And it's actually very tactful in its presentation. They have every style of food and some of the most obscure eats you could imagine. They even had a sushi bar and a buffet. We, of course, purchased bread and peanut butter (we need to conserve our funds). I could probably ramble on about "Weg's", so I'll leave it at that. We went back to Andy's and had Zweigles sausages (amazing). We took a trip up to what Andy referred to as the "Parthenon". There was a 3 mile, in circumfrence, reservoir atop of a large hill and next to that was the highly decorated Greek-based architecture dubbed the Parthenon. We played some music and then went back to Andy's to call it "a night" and "a trip well started". The following morning we chose our next destination; Niagara Falls. Andy's dad gave us water, fresh lettuce and carrots and we were on our merry way...
